We Say Bingo Daubers You Say Dabbers – Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off

What a weekend I’ve had. I’ve been down to Portsmouth for a Christening and just when you think you’re away from everything I get embroiled in a conversation with another person staying at the hotel who is also in to online bingo.

I was also amazed to find that people always spell “bingo dabbers” wrong. Dabbers is the wrong word to use – it’s Bingo Daubers. I suppose it’s the pronunciation that causes the wrong spelling – after all I thought the same. Of course its the wrong spelling of things like bingo daubers that mean you lose out on some great deals.

If you’re looking to buy some on E-Bay then getting the spelling correct is important when searching. It’s also important for the seller to spell correctly too, but just bear this in mind when looking for deals.
