As I sit here tapping on my keyboard the rain is hammering down on the roof. I wouldn’t normally hear it but I’ve decided to sit in the conservatory because for some odd reason the house is really hot.

I haven’t got the heating on, but I could grow palm trees, so I’ve opened the doors and I’m listening to the most relaxing sound I know – the patter of the rain… I love it.

I was going to go out and vote today as well with today being the General Elections but I’m not going anywhere until the rain goes off. I wonder how many other people won’t bother either until the clouds disperse – it could well be the first ever General Election that has been rained off lol.

I’ve just checked the weather report too and it’s not looking good for the weekend in terms of the weather, and I’m off to Portsmouth for Christening too. I’m hoping it does brighten up.
